Wonton Cheeseburger Cups

Recipe Yield & Details

Yield: 24 cups
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10–12 minutes
Total Time: 25–30 minutes
Serving Size: 2–3 cups

Instructions

Step 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
Step 2Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
Step 3Stir in onion, ketchup, mustard, and a splash of water or broth to keep the mixture soft. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in ½ cup of the shredded cheese.
Step 4Press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Add a spoonful of the beef mixture, then sprinkle a little more cheese on top.
Step 5Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers are bubbly.
Step 6Let cool slightly before serving—the filling stays hot longer than it looks. Top with finely chopped pickles or tomatoes if desired.
