Step 1Cut strips: Cut paper towels into strips about 1 inch wide.
Step 2Color: Draw squiggles or fully color each strip with washable markers. The more color, the better the effect.
Step 3Add glue: Place a tiny dab of glue on one end of the strip.
Step 4Roll: Gently roll the strip tightly around a straw or craft stick.
Step 5Remove: Carefully slide the paper off so it keeps its curled “worm” shape.
Step 6Activate the magic: Use a dropper to slowly add water to the worm and watch it expand and stretch.
